And, for a school system, some of the East Asian systems that put even more stress on homework than the U.S. system, they're going to have to reorganize in some fundamental way. And, being good at a certain kind of rote learning will be worth much less in labor markets. So, the idea that that's what you're testing for will no longer be as--I'm not sure how meritocratic it ever was, but it can be fairly meritocratic. But, it won't be any more, and it will be hard for many nations to adjust to that."

The robots 🤖 have just reminded us that we are not automatons. Finland is considered to have the best education system in the world and yet they don't have homework.
